Terms of Service

Welcome to Connect Cleaner. By accessing or using our platform you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the service.

1. The Platform

Connect Cleaner is a marketplace that connects clients seeking residential and commercial cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals ("Cleaners") operating in Ireland. We facilitate the connection but are not a party to the service agreement between clients and cleaners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Irish law to use the platform. Cleaners must hold any licences or qualifications required by applicable law.

3. Bookings & Payments

• Bookings are confirmed only after payment is successfully processed.
• Prices shown are agreed between client and cleaner and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a fee.
• Payments are held securely and released to the Cleaner after service completion.

4. Cleaner Responsibilities

Cleaners using the platform agree to:

• Provide accurate profile information and professional qualifications
• Deliver services to the standard agreed with the client
• Maintain appropriate insurance for their cleaning activities
• Comply with all applicable Irish employment and tax law

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the property and cleaning requirements
• Ensure the property is accessible at the agreed time
• Treat Cleaners with respect and professionalism
• Pay for services as agreed at the time of booking

6. Ratings & Reviews

Both clients and cleaners may leave reviews after a completed booking. Reviews must be honest and based on the actual service experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our community guidelines.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Connect Cleaner to:

• Circumvent the platform by arranging payments outside the system
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Violate any applicable Irish or EU law

8. Limitation of Liability

Connect Cleaner acts as an intermediary and is not liable for the quality of services performed by independent Cleaners. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in dispute, to the extent permitted by Irish law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
